Tamee began photographing at 9 years old when she won a camera in a school fundraiser. She was bitten by the ‘shutter bug’ when she took a black & white photo class in high school. She spent a significant amount of time in the dark room and digital lab while at university. In 2006, she graduated Cum Laude from Washington State University with a B.S. in Psychology; however her love for photography won out.
She followed her heart to Hallmark Institute of Photography located in Massachusetts. While there, she perfected her photographic technique and became skilled in digital negative development. Tamee completed Hallmark’s intensive 10-month program in June 2007 with a stunning portfolio.
She now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to her own photography, Tamee is working for a wedding photograher as the head of the digital department as well as assisting on assignments.
She is available to photograph in the Bay Area as where as anywhere else in the world.
